CO Saturday
|
Legislation requiring carbon monoxide alarms in all California homes becomes law on July 1, 2011. Now is the time to help raise awareness and answer questions consumers in your community will have about this great step forward in public safety. To help you prepare your community for this important change, the Home Safety Council has partnered with First Alert and CAL Fire to host a series of webinars to share important information on CO prevention. Carbon Monoxide Webinars: CO Saturday Webinar: On June 4, 2011, the Home Safety Council, CAL FIRE, First Alert and Lowe's partnered to host CO Saturday, a free public safety event. Throughout California, participating Lowe's stores teamed up with their fire safety and other community safety neighbors for this one-day event. It was designed to teach kids and families about preventing the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO) in a fun, educational way.
